Alex is a bright six-year-old who loves gym, music and playing on his iPad. However, his favourite thing to do is show off his new skill: his ability to walk! He started walking after a successful knee operation last summer. He gets stronger and faster each day thanks to a device called a pacer, which helps support his weight. Walking has helped him discover his self-confidence.
Alex’s mother, Tanya Harrison, is always excited to let Alex’s personality shine through and to encourage the community to support Easter Seals. Since Alex was born, she has had the opportunity to learn firsthand how much Easter Seals can help kids with physical disabilities and their families.
